I am not usually one who cares much for polls. It is too easy to find polls that confirm what you already believe. However, when inevitable things like the failure of the Democrat’s policies start to materialize, we probably ought to get used to polls like these.
It must be nice for Republicans to get to occupy the position that Democrats were able to occupy for most of the Bush term: whine about everything, offer no solutions, and get elected the next time around not because you had better ideas but because the voters will take anything other than what they’ve already got.

Things seem to be going slightly worse than the fawning press predicted. Maybe Rush Limbaugh will be blamed for these numbers? Sadly, your remark about the whining GOP will be true once healthcare and cap and trade are (hopefully) dead.

Of all the numbers I cited, the discrepency between what voters expect from Republicans and Democrats regarding taxes is the most interesting to me. I predict that Democrats underestimate how upset voters will be when Obama renegs his promise not to raise taxes on the middle class.
I wonder what his numbers will look like when the middle/lower classes realize that cap and trade is going to massacre their incomes.

I’m sure it’s all just FOX news’ fault, with all of their critisism. They should just shut up and do what their told, and not question, but support their government. You know, like good americans. I, however, can’t wait for the democratic white house to solve everything by waving their magic “big government” wand over the country.
We can even change the words “pursuit of happiness” to the words “tax payer guaranteed happiness”
Liberty Belle, you don’t understand cap and trade. They are going to send checks to people to prevent their incomes from getting massacred. I am no expert at money laundering, but the basic premises of how money laundering works seems to inform the thinking of the architects of cap and trade.
